LOVE ME
In everyday actions,
they search for the outline where love once remained.
Just wanting to become something that looks like it could be liked.
Just wanting someone to see.
Just like you are doing right now.
LOVE ME uses a minimalist yet sharp visual language to expose the subconscious gestures shaped by social beauty norms.
Each panel begins with an ordinary action and shifts into a form of bodily violation or self-imposed correction—
peeling an apple turns into shaving the chin, straightening sticky notes reflects the desire to fix crooked teeth,
and a bottle opener is repurposed to pry open a toenail.

Is not about one form of appearance anxiety—
it captures the broader system of pressure that comes from being seen.
In the reflection of raindrops on a window,
we’re not just checking how we look—
we’re trying to anticipate how others will see us.
